What Are The Different Types Of Bras?

  • T-shirt bra; seamless with round, moulded cups and often an underwire.
  • Bralette; often free of wire and moulded cups.
  • Strapless; great for off the shoulder tops and dresses.
  • Balconette; cut lower than a full-coverage bra.
  • Full coverage; it’s all in the name!
  • Plunge bra; perfect for low-cut shirts.
  • Sports bra; provide superior support while you workout.
  • Push-up; are often underwire bras with a foam or gel padding.
  • How Do I Measure My Bra Size?

  • Determine your band size and measure around your torso directly under the bust
  • Take your bust measurement around the fullest part of your chest
  • Calculate your cup size by subtracting your band size from your bust measurement. (Refer to table)
  • Your bra size is your band size with your cup size
  • Your Bra Size (subtract band size by bust measurement)
    The difference (in inches): 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
    Your Cup Size Is: AA A B C D DD DDD,F G

How Do I Size Up or Down with my Bra Size?

If you need to go down a cup size, then opt to go up one band size (works the other way around too). For e.g. you’ll need a 36C if a 34D is too big in terms of cup size. However, it’s important to remember that each brand or type of bra may slightly differ.

    Styles of Underwear

  • Thongs are perfect for their minimal coverage and avoiding visible panty lines
  • Bikini features low cheek exposure usually coming in more comfy fabrics
  • Hipster styles feature half cheek exposure and are perfect for low-rise bottoms
  • Boyshorts are more masculine in cut, and are good for casual comfy days
  • When it comes to women’s underwear styles, it’s a good idea to have all kinds in your wardrobe. Those with minimal coverage are perfect for wearing underneath thinner pieces so no pant lines appear. Whatever the occasion, there’s undies to suit!
